The following vacancy shall be filled purely on temporary basis through WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the DBT Project entitled “Comprehensive approach on NTM Species Identification, drug susceptibility testing methods, and strengthening NE State laboratories” under Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology (NE 2018) Govt. of India, in the Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati-32 (Assam).
1. Lab Technician
No of posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
a) B.Sc MLT with two years of experience in Microbiology division of Clinical Laboratory.
b) Must be able to work with automated systems such as Bactec, Vitek, Real time PCR etc.
Desirable:
a) Experience of working in Molecular Biology Laboratory.
b) Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)
2. Lab Attendant
No of posts: 2
Essential Qualification:
a) 12th Passed in Science Stream from a recognized Institute.
b) Experience of working in Hospital Laboratory (2 Years).
c) Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)
How to apply:
(i) Candidates are requested to bring all the relevant documents in Original and one set of photocopies of the same along with CV.
(ii) Candidates with computer knowledge will be given preference.
(iii) No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
